Title: Manual QA EngineerLocation: Louisville, KY - HybridRate: $60/HrNote: This position is a contract on W2, and is NOT open to C2C.Position SummaryOur client is looking to add a QA Engineer to their Digital team and grow their Fortune 500 company within the OSR industry. You will help support manual, front-end testing of their new point of sale (POS) and kitchen display system (KDS).If you are passionate about testing and looking to unlock your curiosity, keep reading!ResponsibilitiesWork with the product owner and development teams to determine testing plan for future releases.Maintain library of manual test scripts.Assist developers in learning what tests need to be covered by unit testsParticipate in project meetings, daily scrums, and product planning sessions.Independently execute manual test scripts against their new POS and KDSFollow defect resolution from inception to productionMaintain a testing lab in our offices in Louisville, KYAssist in managing a fleet of test devices and their test buildsWork with our security team to validate findings of PEN and security testingReport on success or failure of test script runs.Act as an escalation point for our customer helpdeskCertify restaurant hardwareAct as Subject Matter Expert on how the system services are used by other systems in the environmentRequirements: We are looking for someone with a natural curiosity for understanding how systems workExperience with manual testingExperience in the retail and QSR industry are preferredExperience with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking
