Marketing Brand Associate Location: Basingstoke- 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours weeklyCompany: A Global Pharmaceutical Company Job OverviewAs a Brand Associate, you will contribute to both the strategic and operational activities for the Obesity and Diabetes portfolio across the UK and Ireland. Working alongside the Brand Manager and cross-functional teams, you will support the execution of brand strategies, coordinate key marketing initiatives, and ensure all activities meet internal standards and industry regulations. The company fosters a culture built on respect, integrity, and excellence, reflected in both its values and work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the rollout and execution of brand strategies and marketing plans across the Diabetes and Obesity brands.Assist with launch and post-launch activities by coordinating brand deliverables, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely execution.Collaborate with cross-functional partners—such as medical, sales, regulatory, corporate affairs, finance, and market insights—to ensure cohesive and effective brand activity execution.Support the development and delivery of customer and operational plans aligned to global and local strategy.Gather and analyse insight on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to help guide brand decision-making.Assist in the development and review of promotional materials, ensuring all content adheres to the ABPI Code of Practice, internal SOPs, and approval workflows (e.g., Veeva PromoMats).Help coordinate meetings, workshops, and training sessions for internal teams and external stakeholders.Contribute to tracking and evaluating the impact of marketing tactics, offering suggestions for optimisation.Build positive relationships with key stakeholders—including healthcare professionals and relevant influencers—under appropriate guidance.Support digital and omni-channel engagement initiatives, working closely with the engagement team to enhance the customer experience.Ensure full compliance with company policies, ethical requirements, and legal and regulatory standards across all activities.Essential Skills & QualificationsExperience in marketing or brand management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.Clear and confident written and verbal communication abilities.Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.Analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to brand activities.Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn.Good understanding of digital platforms and proficiency with Microsoft Office.Desirable SkillsKnowledge or experience related to Diabetes, Obesity, or similar therapeutic areas.Experience supporting brand or marketing operations in a regulated environment.Familiarity with the ABPI Code of Practice or comparable compliance frameworks.Experience using promotional approval systems such as Veeva PromoMats.Strong leadership attributes, including cross-functional collaboration and influencing without authority.Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.High-level analytical, planning, and organisational capabilities.Willingness to travel for business meetings or events (up to 20%).
