Marketing & Content Specialist - Tech Sector (Part-time, Fixed term)Are storytelling and digital campaigns your thing? Do you want to help Wellington's startups and scaleups access the capital, connections, and visibility they need to grow? We hope so, because we're looking for a talented marketing specialist to jump straight into supporting our calendar of events!We need someone with 3 years' experience in marketing and content creation who can hit the ground running. This is a tactical, execution-focused role. We need someone who's good on the tools - confident in WordPress, CRM platforms, design tools like Canva, and ad managers. Someone who takes an experimental approach to marketing: test, measure, learn, iterate. You'll tell Wellington-specific stories through Wellington-specific content, and you'll make sure the systems and processes behind your campaigns are as solid as the creative work.We're as much interested in how you approach your mahi as what you produce day-to-day. We need you to be a fast writer, digitally savvy, comfortable with video production, and at your best when you're collaborating with our tight-knit team while managing your own projects autonomously.We are a small, tight-knit team of 18. We look after each other, and care deeply about our mission, our culture, and our values: We Go Together, We Bring The Energy, We Challenge What's Possible.We can offer you:A part-time (24-32 hours per week), fixed-term position for six monthsAn immediate start, if it suits We're a flexible workplace - we know how important it is that you find your perfect work/life blend while balancing what it takes to keep a great team culture and strong connections (minimum 3 days per week in office)On-the-job learning and the opportunity to work on high-profile campaigns that make a real difference.What we're looking for:3 years' experience in marketing across digital campaigns, content creation - with both an appreciation for brand and a performance-mindsetFast, strong copywriting skills across formats (web, email, social, media, ads)Hands-on experience with digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads)—not just launching campaigns but actively optimising themProficiency in WordPress for building and managing websites and micrositesExperience with CRM platforms and a genuine willingness to work on CRM optimisation, data management, and marketing operations (the non-glamorous side that makes great marketing possible)Proven ability to track campaign performance and optimise for resultsA connection to or genuine interest in the startup/tech worldBonus points for video capture and editing skillsHow to apply:We're doing things differently.
