Join us, and be part of the team making that future possible.The RoleAs a Marketing Data Scientist, you will drive how Oviva invests millions in marketing by using data science to unlock ROI, shape media planning, and power strategic decision-making across channels.This is a hands-on role for someone with a passion for marketing analytics, who thrives on turning complex data into clear, actionable insight. Your models will guide everything from lead generation to patient conversion, media planning to performance tracking.You’ll be joining a high-impact team, collaborating closely with marketing, product, data engineering, and BI stakeholders. You'll also transition models from external agencies and build internal MMM capability to support Oviva’s ambitious growth.What You BringDeep expertise in statistical modeling, especially regression, time-series, classification, clustering, and uplift modeling.Hands-on experience with media mix modeling (MMM), marketing attribution, and campaign ROI measurement.Strong coding skills in Python and SQL for data wrangling, modeling, and automation.Familiarity with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or ThoughtSpot.Track record of end-to-end ownership of data projects that influenced budget or strategy.Clear, structured communication style—comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Understanding of both offline and online marketing channels and how they impact business KPIs.A collaborative mindset and the ability to operate autonomously with high attention to detail.Nice to HaveExperience with Google Cloud, BigQuery, or other cloud-based data warehouses.Background in healthtech, regulated industries, or data privacy environments (e.g., GDPR).Job responsibilities:Media Mix Modelling & AttributionDevelop, validate, and automate media mix models using statistical/econometric methods (e.g., regression, time series, predictive models).Enable scenario planning—e.g., how shifts in spend impact conversions, ROI.Experiment with advanced algorithms and automations for MMM.Build additional organic attribution models to measure the effect of our social media and PR activities.Optionally explore multi-touch/digital attribution methods to complement MMM.Campaign Analysis & Impact MeasurementQuantify the effectiveness of marketing campaigns on the full funnel, especially conversion from lead to patient and thus impact on revenue.Build predictive models and causal inference (e.g., uplift modelling, experiments) to assess incremental lift.Design short-term measurement framework for brand / reach campaigns for early insights into the efficacy of the campaign and the expected impact on longer-term brand metrics and revenues.Advanced Analytics & ModelingBuild segmentation, churn, retention, and propensity models to guide marketing targeting and personalization, e.g., for CRM activities.Conduct A/B or multivariate test design and analysis to evaluate marketing tactics.
