What are you going to do?Nedap Security develops advanced physical access control solutions that help organizations protect their people, property, and processes. As we transition to SaaS-based solutions and cloud-native platforms, we are seeking a Marketing Director to define the vision and lead Nedap Security's global marketing transformation.As Marketing Director, you will guide Nedap Security's positioning as we evolve from a traditional access control system provider to a broader, software-driven security solutions provider. SaaS will be a key driver of this transformation.You will define and implement our go-to-market and demand generation strategies to accelerate the adoption of Nedap's SaaS-based and access control solutions in the enterprise and critical infrastructure markets.Your work will shape how Nedap is perceived – from a trusted technology partner to a leading SaaS provider – and increase our brand awareness, engagement, and commercial growth.You will report to the Head of Commerce of the Business Unit Security.Your responsibilitiesStrategic Leadership : Define and drive Nedap Security's global marketing strategy, aligning brand, product and go-to-market activities to accelerate the transition to a SaaS-driven business model;Brand positioning : Reposition Nedap Security from a product-centric organization to a value-driven, solutions-oriented provider by translating strategic ambitions into clear and distinctive stories for customers and partners;Demand Generation : Drive global demand creation through multichannel strategies, including content, events, partnerships and digital campaigns, by setting direction and creative frameworks;Product Marketing : Partner with Product Management and Sales to shape product marketing, with consistent messaging, pricing, and positioning across all solutions;Leadership & Team Development : Build, lead and develop a high-performing marketing team and foster a culture of curiosity, creativity and data-driven decision-making;Thought leadership : Strengthen Nedap's position as a thought leader in enterprise access control and physical security through compelling storytelling, active market participation, and consistent brand image;Performance Optimization : Measure and optimize marketing impact using tools like HubSpot or similar systems, focusing on pipeline contribution and key growth metrics;Market expertise : Stay ahead of the curve by continuously monitoring market developments, competition, and emerging trends in SaaS and identity management and translating them into concrete marketing strategies.Your teamIn this role, you'll lead a team of marketers and collaborate closely with colleagues from Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to ensure strong alignment across the organization and achieve meaningful market impact. Read more here.Required Experiences And SkillsYou are an experienced SaaS marketing leader with deep insight into how to position and scale software-driven businesses within complex B2B markets. You combine strategic clarity with the ability to inspire teams and connect diverse stakeholders around shared commercial goals.Your Profile IncludesProven experience : Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B marketing, of which at least 5 years in SaaS or subscription models and 3+ years in leading high-performing teams;Strategic and commercial insight : Demonstrable success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for SaaS solutions, preferably in international markets and through multichannel ecosystems;Analytical and data-driven : Skilled in leveraging data, insights and marketing technology to inform decisions, measure impact and identify new growth opportunities;Affinity for technology and security : Strong understanding of enterprise technology; experience or interest in physical security, identity or access control markets is a plus;International perspective : You feel at home in international, multicultural environments and know how to effectively adapt your message and strategy to different regions;Leadership and Collaboration : Proven ability to build, lead and inspire marketing teams, driving creativity, accountability and alignment with commercial and product goals;Excellent communication skills : Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.About Nedap In SecurityIn the security sector, we offer an innovative, people-centric approach to access control.
