We inspire.The British Council is seeking a Marketing Officer to support Exams marketing activities in Kazakhstan. The position is responsible for implementing marketing strategies and providing operational support to the exams business, contributing to overall market impact. The role involves collaboration with local teams and the wider marketing community to increase revenues, expand audiences, and strengthen digital engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesExecution of marketing and communication plans for Exams in Kazakhstan.Coordination and delivery of online and offline events targeting test takers, including webinars, workshops, and speaking clubs.Development of creative content, presentations, and promotional materials in line with brand guidelines.Management of supplier relationships and event logistics to ensure professional execution.Support for business development activities such as education fairs, partnership events, and institutional engagement.Research and identification of new digital channels and opportunities to enhance audience engagement.Monitoring and reporting of marketing KPIs and sharing insights with regional teams.Essential RequirementsDegree or professional qualification in Marketing or Business.Experience in a marketing assistant role within a medium or large organization.Demonstrable experience in implementing marketing plans and managing supplier relationships.DesirableProfessional marketing accreditation (e.g., CIM, CIPR).Experience within a global organization.Further Information Pay Band – Local Pay Band 4/HGross Salary – 560 000 KZTContract Type – one year fixed term contractJob type – Full-timeLocation – Astana/Almaty, KazakhstanClosing Date – Thursday, 11th of December 2025, applications will close 23:59A connected and trusted UK in a more connected and trusted world.Equality, Diversity and Inclusion StatementWe are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from all sections of the community as we believe that a diverse workforce gives added depth to our work.
