We strive for the perfect balance of simplicity and excellence in everything we do, and we’re looking for people who are ready to join our journey and rewrite the story of data sovereignty.Role overviewThe Marketing Coordinator based in Ilkari’s Colombian Data Centre plays a pivotal role in accelerating the commercialisation of our data centre and sovereign cloud services in the Colombian market.You will be the local marketing powerhouse on-site in Tocancipá, working closely with the Colombian Sales team to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales success. With a deep understanding of the Colombian data centre landscape and fluent English, you will shape Ilkari’s local presence, drive the growth of our new data centre business, and act as the bridge between the local market and our global marketing team in Europe.This is a true marketing allrounder role: from building high-impact sales collateral and planning trade shows, sponsorships, and networking events, to driving PR and media outreach—you will ensure our story is consistently and compellingly told: Ilkari enables organisations to keep their data local in Colombia—securely, sovereignly, and under their full control.What you'll doSales enablement & local lead generationPartner closely with the Colombian Sales team to understand their needs and provide marketing tools that support their sales goalsDevelop on-brand sales presentations, brochures, pitch decks, and other marketing collateral for customer meetings, data centre visits and eventsWork with the technical subject matter experts of our data centre to deeply understand the features and unique selling points of our facility and translate them into clear, compelling marketing messages and contentPlan and execute marketing activities that generate leads and business opportunities, including campaigns, sponsorships, and networking eventsCollaborate with our Demand Generation Specialist to coordinate new lead generation opportunities, lead follow-ups and nurture campaignsEvent & sponsorship managementPlan, organise and execute trade show exhibitions, conference appearances, and high-end networking events to elevate Ilkari’s visibility and expand its industry networkCoordinate sponsorships and secure speaker opportunities to position Ilkari as the provider of choice for data centre and sovereign cloud servicesManage all event logistics end to end, including venue selection, supplier coordination, branding, guest management, timelines, and on-site deliveryPR & media relationsMap and build relationships with local media outlets, journalists and industry publications to increase Ilkari’s brand awareness in ColombiaIdentify and pitch PR opportunities, secure interviews for Ilkari leadership and subject matter experts and ensure consistent media coverageCoordinate press releases, media kits and story angles that position Ilkari as a trusted, high-quality provider for data sovereigntyPartnership marketingSupport the growth of our IT integrator partnership programme from a marketing perspective, creating co-marketing opportunities, joint events and promotional activitiesStrengthen relationships with local and international industry associations to leverage memberships for PR, speaking slots, event participation and sponsorshipsCustomer experience & brand applicationServe as the marketing point of contact for onboarding new data centre customers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience that reflects Ilkari’s brand and quality standardsMaintain brand consistency across all physical touchpoints at the data centre from signage and office branding to Ilkari-branded apparel and handout materialsEnsure that all local marketing materials and experiences uphold Ilkari’s premium brand standards and resonate with the target audienceCoordination with global marketingAct as the local implementation arm of the global marketing team and strategy, ensuring onsite marketing activities effectively support global objectivesTranslate and adapt relevant English-language content (blogs, social media, emails, newsletters, sales materials) into Spanish, tailoring it for the Colombian market and ensuring it reaches the right audience through Ilkari’s local or global channelsReport on local marketing performance, campaign impact, and lead generation activities, providing actionable insights to the wider marketing teamVendor managementWork closely with the local Procurement team to identify and build relationships with local vendors for print, merchandising and event materials to source high-quality, cost-effective suppliesDevelop and maintain a local inventory of branded materials to support sales meetings, events and customer visitsWhat are we looking for3–4 years of experience in a marketing coordinator, marketing generalist or sales enablement roleExperience in the data centre, cloud, or broader tech sector is requiredProven ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects in a fast-paced environmentConfident working with marketing tools such as:CRM: HubSpot, Salesforce or similarCMS: WordPress or similarEmail/Newsletter tools (e.g. Mailchimp, Brevo)Analytics: Google Analytics, social platform insightsStrong organisational, interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent copywriting skills in Spanish, with the ability to translate and adapt content from English (blogs, social media copy, email campaigns, sales collateral)Fluent in writing and speaking in English to collaborate with teams across EuropeCreative mindset with an eye for design and brand consistencyUnderstanding of the local Colombian data centre, tech and media landscapeWillingness and availability to travel (primarily
