Math Tutor

Mathnasium of El Segundo is now hiring Math Instructors/Tutors! Are you great at math and love teaching kids? Then, we are looking for you! As a math instructor, you will work with children from Kinder - 12th grade in a fun group setting at our center. We offer part-time jobs with flexible scheduling and opportunities to earn bonuses based on performance indicators.Required QualificationsGreat math skills through Algebra IExcellent communication and multi-tasking skillsAbility to professionally interact with students and parentsEnergetic and confident personalityMust pass a Math employment test that covers elementary to Algebra 1 skillsPreferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have experience as a math tutor, mathematics tutor, experience in tutoring middle/high school students, or have a background as a math teacherAbility to teach students in upper level high school math coursesPrevious teaching experience or other experience working with students (a plus but not necessary)Hours will vary, but generally are afternoon and evenings Monday - Friday from 3-7pm. Tutoring occurs in our safe commercial center. No in-home tutoring. Pay is competitive + bonuses and based on education and experience.
