Mechanical 3D Drafter

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have proficient experience in Solid Edge or SolidWorks software, with a strong background in mechanical design principles and drafting techniques. You will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing, collaborating with engineers to transform concepts and specifications into detailed plans that meet quality and safety standards. Responsibilities:· Create accurate 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Edge or SolidWorks.· Collaborate with mechanical engineers to understand product requirements and design specifications.· Review and modify existing mechanical designs and drawings.· Ensure all created drawings adhere to industry and company standards.· Assist in the design process documentation and support manufacturing and assembly teams.· Update and maintain project files as needed for efficient documentation and reference.· Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to other team members. Qualifications:· Proven experience as a Mechanical Drafter or similar role.· Proficient in Solid Edge or SolidWorks CAD software.· Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and material properties.· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.· Good organizational and communication skills.· Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks effectively.
