Mechanical Engineer – Wind Energy IndustryWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in Technical Project Management (TPM) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) within the wind energy sector. The role involves leading mechanical design and analysis activities for large-scale turbine components, ensuring structural integrity, reliability, and performance across the full lifecycle.Key Responsibilities • Manage mechanical engineering projects related to wind turbine components (nacelle, hub, drivetrain, or tower). • Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate load cases, fatigue, and structural performance. • Lead design activities using CAD tools, ensuring compliance with design standards and certification requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across design, manufacturing, and testing. • Document analysis results and prepare technical reports for design reviews and stakeholders. • Identify risks, propose optimizations, and support validation through testing or simulation. • Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of design and analysis processes.Required Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • Proven experience in mechanical design and FEA for large mechanical or rotating structures. • Hands-on experience with ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar simulation tools. • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or similar). • Strong project management skills within engineering development. • Knowledge of structural dynamics, materials, and fatigue analysis.Preferred Experience • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. • Experience from the wind energy, offshore, or heavy industry sectors. • Familiarity with certification standards (e.g., DNV-GL, IEC 61400). • PMP or similar project management certification.
