Participating in this project could be a pivotal milestone in your career and a significant historical achievement for the region.Today, we are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join our Rolling Stock team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.What are my responsibilities?Perform Train formation, Modification, and maintenance of rail vehicles and mechanical components according to safety and quality standards.Conduct inspections and troubleshooting on bogies, wheelsets, and other mechanical systems.Assemble and disassemble defective parts and replace them as needed.Document all work performed in compliance with company guidelines.What do I need to qualify for this job?Completed vocational training in one of the following fields: Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Metalworker or similar metalworking profession.Strong technical understanding and manual skills.Ability to work independently and reliably, with a team-oriented mindset.Willingness to work shifts and rotate schedules.Basic knowledge of digital tools (tablets, apps, laptops).Electrical knowledge and experience are a plus.Fluent in English and Arabic is a must.What else do I need to know?As a world leader in developing and producing the most advanced technologies, we improve lives and further human achievements worldwide, while also protecting the climate - all thanks to our employees.
