Job Description

Role Objectives:We are looking for a skilled and proactive Civil or Architectural Engineer to join our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all maintenance activities across our network of over 50 supermarket branches. The role involves conducting site audits, preparing preventive maintenance plans, supervising technical teams, and ensuring all maintenance work meets required quality and safety standards. Roles & Responsibilities:Preventive Maintenance Planning:Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance plans.Schedule regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities.Utilize maintenance management software to track and document maintenance activities. Corrective Maintenance Management:Oversee and manage corrective maintenance activities.Ensure prompt response to equipment failures and breakdowns.Coordinate with the maintenance team to perform repairs efficiently.Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:Create detailed maintenance schedules for all hospital locations.Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and impact on hospital operations.Ensure all maintenance activities are completed within the planned timelines. Independent Project Management:Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously, exhibiting the ability to work autonomously and effectively prioritize tasks to ensure successful project completion within set deadlines. Engineering Drawing Knowledge:Well-versed in engineering drawings and principles, enabling comprehensive understanding and accurate implementation of design concepts and specifications. Methodical and Precise Work Approach:Known for employing a methodical and precise work approach, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and the delivery of high-quality work outputs. Strong Problem-Solving Skills:Possessing excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving issues efficiently to overcome challenges and achieve optimal results.Inventory Management:Maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.Implement an inventory tracking system to monitor stock levels.Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of inventory. Budget Management:Prepare and manage the maintenance department's budget. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective use of resources.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.5-8 years experience in maintenance operations (retail chains, malls, hotels, or similar environments preferred).Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.Excellent written and verbal English communication.Strong team leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Willingness to travel frequently to various branches.
