M&A Director Location | LondonNH14731The Opportunity: A global technology consultancy delivering services such as data analytics and AI solutions, digital transformation and technology modernisation programmes is seeking to hire an experienced M&A Director.The M&A Director will help to drive the continued growth and internationalisation of the business by leading the deal lifecycle from origination to integration / value creation planning. Key ResponsibilitiesDrive origination efforts globally, both directly and off-market, and by using advisors and intermediaries. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of acquisition opportunities, regularly engaging with potential targets.Conduct detailed financial, commercial, and strategic analyses to assess targets for strategic fit.Prepare detailed business cases and IMs for executive and investment committee approval.Manage due diligence processes, coordinating internal and external advisors.Manage all negotiations, valuations and pricing, SPAs, and the structuring of deals.Work closely with the PE sponsor and internal stakeholders to ensure the flow of regular M&A related data, updates, and reporting. Assist the Head of M&A with developing and enhancing internal M&A processes, governance frameworks, and best practices.Support in the development of the M&A Associate.Partner closely with the CFO and functional leaders to ensure the success of post-merger integration and ensure value creation targets are achieved.Candidate ProfileExperienced M&A or Corporate Development professional.Likely combining investment banking, M&A Advisory (or similar) with in-house corporate development experience.Strong technical grounding in financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring, and negotiation, with a proven track record of executing mid-market transactions.Commercially astute and strategic, with the ability to translate financial insight into actionable M&A and value creation strategies.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the gravitas to operate at senior levels internally and externally.Prior exposure to cross-border transactions.Experience working in private equity backed environments would be advantageousProven, proactive approach to origination and driving deal processes. Willingness to travel for work as required.
