Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer/Developer

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer/Developer for one of our clients, and the details:Position: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer/DeveloperLocation: SwedenResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain data ingestion pipelines and cloud architecture solutions using Microsoft Fabric.⁠Implement high-volume, scalable, and secure data processing solutions.⁠Strong in PySpark to write notebooks to implement business rules and transformations as processes.⁠Collaborate with architects and leads to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.⁠Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.⁠Perform testing and debugging of fabric applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.⁠Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.⁠Ensure data quality, controls, and governance are in place.⁠Optimise and secure data storage and retrieval systems.⁠Monitor system performance and recommend necessary infrastructure changes.⁠Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Microsoft Fabric and related fields.⁠Integrate, centralise, and maintain data sources.⁠Supervise the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.⁠=> 5 years of experience in data engineering or software development.⁠Strong proficiency in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.⁠Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.⁠Solid understanding of data processing frameworks and tools (e.g., Azure Databricks, Hadoop).⁠Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.⁠Strong understanding of networking, security, and data management.⁠Understanding of Data Governance principles and practices.⁠Certifications: Fabric DP-700 & DP-600 certification is preferred.In case you are interested in the position, please respond to this post OR send your profile to Raghav.N@siriab.se.
