In 2026, we are doubling down on our commitment to data-driven solutions by improving our operational data foundations with a modern data platform built on BigQuery, dbt, and Dagster.As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll design and scale the data infrastructure that empowers teams to build smarter, fairer, and more personal job discovery experiences.You’ll join a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers who blend data pipelines with machine learning, large language models (LLMs) and experimentation to deliver high-quality solutions for scalable experimentation and modeling. From data ingestion and transformation to orchestration and observability, you’ll help shape the data and ML platform behind FINN Jobb.What You’ll DoWork with data scientists to design, build, and maintain the data pipelines and infrastructure that take ML models from exploration to production.Collaborate with product teams to ensure seamless access to clean, well-modeled, and timely data.Develop and evolve our data platform, including data modeling, orchestration, cataloging, and governance.Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of our cloud data ecosystem.Contribute to a shared data platform used across teams for modeling, experimentation, and analytics.Contribute to shared tooling and best practices for data quality, observability, and CI/CD.What We Are Looking ForStrong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and automation.Experience with cloud-native data stacks (dbt, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar).Familiarity with workflow orchestration (Airflow, dbt, Dagster) and data versioning.Experience designing and operating modern data pipelines in production (batch and streaming).Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data governance.Interest in LLMs, vector search, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) - and curiosity to apply them responsibly.Comfort collaborating with product engineers and data scientists on shared infra.Bonus: experience supporting ML systems or collaborating closely with ML teams.Why you’ll love it hereThe models and infrastructure you build will directly influence how millions of Norwegians find meaningful work - every single day.You’ll work in a culture that’s inclusive, supportive, and experimental – where curiosity beats ego.You’ll apply state-of-the-art techniques and tooling to real marketplace data at scale.You’ll be part of a team that cares deeply about users, each other, and the craft of data science.You’ll collaborate with some of the smartest engineers and data scientists in the Nordics, in an environment that prizes autonomy, learning, and impact.LocationsWork from our central and modern Stockholm office, with the flexibility to work up to 50% remotely.Got your attention?
