We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed Mid Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at HFM.Your role at HFMTake a more active role in architecting, managing, and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure to meet business needs. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployments and updates across AWS environments. Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform to provision and maintain complex cloud infrastructure. Implement AWS security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, encryption, and compliance measures. Analyze and optimize cloud costs using AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, and Reserved Instances while balancing performance. Use AWS monitoring tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and X-Ray to build proactive alerts, dashboards, and performance insights. Automate and optimize cloud operations using advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash) for operational efficiency. Manage databases (RDS, DynamoDB), ensuring reliable backups, performance, and recovery processes. Design secure and efficient AWS networking solutions (VPCs, subnets, security groups, and ACLs). Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud infrastructure aligns with reliability, scalability, and security goals. Mentor junior engineers by sharing best practices and guiding their skill development. RequirementsWhat You Bring:Strong understanding of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, and VPCs. Proficiency in Terraform for managing infrastructure as code. Experience with CloudFormation is a plus. Solid knowledge of AWS networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, etc.). Hands-on experience with cost optimization tools and strategies, including AWS Budgets and Reserved Instances. Expertise in using AWS security best practices, including IAM roles, encryption, and compliance configurations. Proficiency in AWS monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, X-Ray, and CloudTrail for performance optimization. Advanced scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages. In-depth experience with databases (RDS, DynamoDB) and related backup/recovery tasks. Familiarity with microservices architecture and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
