This role offers a unique opportunity to integrate data across systems, design new models and solutions, and support Luminor’s evolving regulatory requirements. You’ll play a central role in shaping scalable data architectures, building reliable data pipelines, and defining best practices that will guide the future of data engineering in risk reportingHow You Will Make an Impact: Design, implement, and continuously improve systems for data ingestion, processing, storage, and sharingBuild and optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, and reliabilityDevelop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools and frameworksEnsure seamless integration and synchronization across CRM, servicing channels, and sales toolsUphold high standards of data quality, security, availability, and performanceCollaborate with analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutionsPerform code reviews, troubleshoot software, and fix defectsImplement monitoring and alerting for data workflowsGain expertise in a variety of banking processes and productsWork as part of a cross-functional Agile development team in a Pan-Baltic, international environmentWhat Makes You a Great Fit: Proven experience with SQL and Python; Java is a plusHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker)Strong understanding of streaming data pipelines and platforms (Kafka, Spark, Flink)Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Airflow or dbtExperience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)Knowledge of solution integrations (real-time, message-based, event-driven)Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databasesExposure to test automation and DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code and security best practicesExperience within the customer business domain is a strong advantageAbility to take ownership and drive initiatives independentlyFluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic levelWhy You Will Love Working Here: Flexibility.
