Your RoleWe are looking to onboard a motivated and dedicated Creative Director to join our rapidly expanding team. This individual will work directly with the Director of eCommerce to determine vision and project execution for MIRA Safety’s product content and marketing creatives.
They will lead the creative direction across all channels, ensuring consistency with the MIRA Safety brand while staying ahead of tactical gear market trends. This role will oversee and manage all creative talent, including in-house designers, video editors, producers, and external agencies for photography, video production, and visual effects. The Content Director will ensure that all creative output—whether internal or outsourced—meets brand standards, drives measurable results, and aligns with broader marketing and business goals. This position will also be required to be on-screen in select MIRA Safety content. What you are accountable for:
Creative Leadership & ManagementLead and manage all creative personnel, including designers, video editors, producers, and external creative agencies (photography, visual effects, animation)Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and performance oversight to creative staff and contractorsMaintain a unified brand voice and visual identity across all creative outputsContent Strategy & ExecutionCreate, design, and implement video, graphic, and written content for marketing, advertising, and social mediaDevelop creative concepts for multi-channel campaigns, from ideation to executionCoordinate with the marketing team to integrate creatives into paid marketing campaigns, influencer partnerships, and industry collaborationsOversee post-production, including editing, visual effects, sound design, and final quality controlProject & Resource ManagementDevelop timelines, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery of all creative projectsManage relationships with freelancers, agencies, and production vendorsEnsure creative budgets are tracked and adhered toBrand & Market AlignmentStay current with tactical gear, PPE, and military/law enforcement industry trends to inform creative directionOptimize content for maximum engagement and conversion, including SEO, metadata, and platform-specific requirementsReview creative analytics to evaluate performance and inform future strategiesHands-On ContributionParticipate in shoots, including on-screen appearances when neededCreate content assets directly when appropriate (video editing, graphic design, copywriting)Other DutiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-priority-shifting environmentTravel up to 30% for shoots, events, and collaborationsPerform other creative and strategic duties as assignedRequirements:
Proven experience managing creative teams, including video editors, producers, and external agenciesStrong portfolio demonstrating creative direction, campaign development, and multi-platform content executionExperience in social media management, digital content production, and brand marketingHands-on skills in content creation (video, graphics, copy) and post-production oversightFamiliarity with visual effects workflows and vendor coordinationExperience in law enforcement, military, private security, the firearm industry, or as a CBRN specialist preferredWillingness to be on cameraPreferred:
