Moodle Developer / E-Learning Platform Specialist (India)

Location: Remote, anywhere in IndiaContract Type: Contractual (6 months, extendable)Organisation: PS Learning LoungeDeadline: 29 October, 2025About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Moodle Developer to lead the design, customization, and deployment of interactive online training modules for instructors. The position will work closely with PS Learning Lounge’s project team and the client’s training partner to ensure the successful rollout of an engaging and secure e-learning environment.About the ClientOur client is an international development organization dedicated to improving vocational and technical education systems across South and Southeast Asia. The organization works with government and private partners to enhance youth employability through quality-focused, technology-enabled training initiatives.Key Responsibilities·     Customize and deploy training content on Moodle or other open-source learning platforms.·     Integrate multimedia learning tools (videos, quizzes, animations, etc.) into course modules.·     Ensure a user-friendly, secure, and scalable e-learning environment.·     Support pilot testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixing.·     Train project staff on platform administration and content updates.·     Provide system maintenance and support post-launch.Qualifications & Experience ·     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.·     Minimum 3 years of experience in Moodle or similar LMS customization and deployment.·     Proven experience developing interactive, SCORM-compliant content.·     Familiarity with agile development processes and collaborative tools.·     Strong understanding of UI/UX for educational applications.·     Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.Preferred Skills·     Experience working with education or development sector projects.·     Knowledge of API integration and server-side security best practices.What We Offer·     An opportunity to contribute to impactful, technology-driven learning initiatives.·     Collaborate with education and digital learning experts across borders.·     Competitive consultancy remuneration based on experience.How to ApplyInterested candidates are requested to submit their updated CV and a brief cover letter clearly mentioning the position they are applying for in the subject line.
