Our Motion Designers fuse cutting-edge technologies and innovative design approaches, solving complex creative problems for our clients. Our clients’ needs for the latest and most brilliant multimedia designs show no sign of slowing down, and we are looking to build on our talented team. Based in our Gadigal (Sydney) studio, you’ll join a high-performing team in an environment that values pushing creative boundaries and breaking lazy binaries.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop and manipulate graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia applications.Create engaging motion graphics and effects, special effects, interactive media and other animations for various digital platforms, including social media and dynamic presentations.Create key art, sketches, diagrams, illustrations and design concepts from scratch, including creating style frames and references to communicate ideas.Contribute to the design, conceptualisation and development of creative concepts for motion design projects.Create assets for social content campaigns across video, digital, motion and print design.Create content for a variety of live event setups, including screens of varying scales and sizes, as well as multiscreen applications and oversized large-screen formats.Contribute to 3D Design and Pipeline workflows, including modelling, rigging, animating, texturing and lighting, as well as 3D simulations.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including graphic other designers, editors, sound design, account directors and production teams.Conduct thorough quality checks on animations, motions and motion graphics to ensure accuracy and consistency.Work across large-scale After Effects projects efficiently and competently.Maintain brand consistency across all projects and deliverables.Consult and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand and determine the brief, present and justify strategy, ideation, aesthetic materials and design concepts.Provide guidance to junior designers and other teams.Stay updated with and proactively explore the latest tools, techniques, and trends in motion animation and other motion designs to elevate our work.Commit to ongoing learning and professional development, including other animation programs like Cinema 4D and Unreal.EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Relevant degree qualificationsAt least 3+ years of relevant experience, with preferred experience in motion multimedia designing a wide range of projects, from shorter, social media-based assets, to longer scripted pieces, commercial projects and/or documentariesHigh-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Red Giant, Premiere Pro, InDesign and Figma.High-level proficiency in 3D Software, including Cinema 4D and Redshift Renderer.Advanced design & composition skillsExcellent understanding of motion, movement and pacingExperience with AI generation software, for example Gemini or TopazExcellent attention to detail and time management Confident communication skills, including verbal, nonverbal and online Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both individually and as part of the teamStrong creative problem-solving skills to address technical challenges & find innovative solutions during the design & animation processExperience working in collaborative environments, working within a team of designers or collaborating with other departments in larger projects.Must have experience working in motion design for the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry and Ai startup sectorExperience working on complex projects, whether that be large amounts of assets, or complicated setups, such as multi-screen events. Experience working at a global company, working across multiple timezones & multiple geos.DESIRED: Any level of experience with Substance Painter, Toon Boom Harmon, Adobe Animate, Red Giant, Cell Animation (frame by frame), Stop MotionAt Entropico, we -Thrive autonomously and in team scenarios.Work collaboratively with the other teams to ensure the output of work is always of the highest quality possible.Add value to all productions & processes & contribute to the business's overall success.Most importantly, act within the best interests of Entropico.BENEFITSHighly subsidised Wellness package with ClassPassBehavioural, health & family support program via EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Complimentary daily coffees from our local cafeTime Off in Lieu program Menstrual / Menopausal Leave Paid Parental LeaveCo-funded LearningIntentional Statement Entropico is intentional about hiring talent from all backgrounds.
