Network Security Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Colombo for a Network Security Engineer. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network architectures, configuring and managing network equipment, monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, and troubleshooting security-related issues. The Network Security Engineer will collaborate with IT teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with best security and performance practices while proactively mitigating risks. QualificationsStrong skills in Network Administration, Network Engineering, and configuring network security devices.Should have expertise in Palo alto and Checkpoint firewall configuration and management.Proficiency in Network Security, Cybersecurity, and implementing secure protocols.Solid knowledge of Information Security principles and safeguarding sensitive data.Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Certifications such as PCNSE , CCSA are advantageous.
