You will work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure our network infrastructure is scalable, secure, and future-proof. You will also play a key role in supporting the integration of new acquisitions and the continuous modernization of our IT landscape.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and optimize network solutions (LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, etc.) to support business units across the group. Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of network infrastructure. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical network solutions. Integrate network systems with cloud platforms (Azure, IaaS) and support hybrid setups. Document network architectures, configurations, and processes. Continuously analyse, and improve network performance and security in collaboration with our vendors & partners Support the transition and integration of network infrastructure during mergers and acquisitions. Participate in the development and enforcement of zero trust security principles. Working with External PartnersAt STARK Group IT, we collaborate with specialized external partners to deliver a range of network services including implementation, operation, support, and continuous optimization.As a Network Specialist, you will serve as the key link between STARK Group IT and these partners, ensuring clear communication of requirements, expectations, and timelines.Your main responsibilities will include:Coordinating and overseeing partner activities to ensure alignment with STARK Group’s standards, architecture, and business objectives. Translating business and technical needs into clear, actionable tasks for external partners. Ensuring thorough documentation, structured handovers, and effective knowledge transfer from partners to internal teams. Evaluating partner performance and providing feedback to strengthen collaboration and drive continuous improvement. What you bringIn this role, success means ensuring STARK’s network is secure, stable, and supports business growth across countries and platforms. You translate complex needs into reliable technical solutions and collaborate closely with partners and colleagues to make it happen and therefore, you likely bring:Experience designing and operating enterprise network solutions. Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN (Meraki and Fortinet preferred). Familiarity with Azure networking, hybrid cloud, and Zero Trust principles. A structured approach to working with external partners and vendors.
