Job Description SummaryThe Commercial Operations Manager- North East Africa ensures that the sales organization receive an integrated commercial operations service and owns the full commercial /ITO process : Deal Structuring, Risk analysis & mitigation, go/no-go decision making, proposal generation, deal negotiation/closing and hand-over to OTR. Furthermore the role will contribute to the overall MCT GTM strategy and sales force effectiveness initiatives to improve productivity and channel effectiveness.The role reports functionally into the Africa Commercial Director and operationally into the North East Africa General ManagerJob DescriptionKey responsibilities/essential functions include:Oversees development of winning commercial deal strategiesOrganizes and leads deal review & decision meetings to ensure that technical and commercial risks are addressed and incorporated in our offersEnsures adherence to relevant GE HealthCare PoliciesHighlights and communicates risks outside company standardsEnsures that deal risks are properly assessed and mitigated (flags approved by relevant functions per DoA matrix)Presents overall risk profile during deal strategy discussionsCo-develops appropriate Terms and Conditions for standard customer proposals (per types) based on risk/reward analysisMeasures and monitors KPIs (such as market visibility, win rate, order quality) and adherence to risk review and opportunity management procedures.Ensures proposal throughput, yield, cost, and efficiencyEnsures that commercial tools are updated regularly by the MCT commercial teamsOwns orders forecastingWorks as a key member of the LCT team in support of achieving the orders, sales, and margin targetsRequired QualificationsStrong business acumen and experience in Sales/Services/Commercial/Financial rolesProven success in commercial project management executionFluent in English with excellent communication skill and strongExhibits the ability to interact effectively with various types of people with ability to articulate & build convincing arguments internally and externally.Excellent financial & business knowledge and understanding High work standard and quality.Reliable, responsive, attentive to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on tight timelinesAction and results orientedDemonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast paced environment.Prior experience with contract drafting and negotiation and customer/client interaction and relationshipsInclusion and DiversityGE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
