This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the health and wellbeing of our diverse student community. You’ll deliver expert clinical care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who share a passion for supporting young people through their university journey.We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, values holistic and preventative approaches to healthcare, and brings innovative ideas to enhance service delivery. You’ll also contribute to health promotion initiatives across the wider University community, helping to create a supportive and thriving campus environment.Salary for this role is in accordance with the Nurse Practitioners New Zealand Renumeration Guideline https://www.nurse.org.nz/npnz . It is based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. You bring a patient-centred approach to your work, with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting students’ physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.With your strong clinical background and current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Health Care, you’re confident in your ability to provide safe, high-quality care. The work of Student Services comprises the following: administrative processes from enrolment through to graduation, enquiry management, pastoral care, international student services, health, accommodation, counselling, disabilities support, career development services, sport and wellbeing, student surveys and student complaints and appeals.The Director of Student Services is responsible for the overall management of Student Services, with assistance from a team of Associate Directors including the Associate Director, Student Health.The University Health Service provides high quality, accessible health and wellbeing care to students.
