Our advisory services include testing and inspection, contract administration and oversight, compliance monitoring, and comprehensive construction and project management — all tailored to help our clients navigate challenges and achieve their goals with confidence.Description: The Office Engineer I/ Airport Terminal Office Engineer provides a broad spectrum of technical and administrative duties primarily associated with submittal and Request for Information (RFI) management as well as construction management support. Supports the project management team (Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Construction Managers, Design Managers, and client’s staff).What we are looking for:Technical and Construction background with experience in an operating and active environmentKnowledge in design and construction contracting practices and methodologiesKnowledge and experience in the project design life cycle from Concept to Project Definition Book to Permit to BulletinsKnowledge and experience in the project construction life cycle from Pre-Construction to estimating/buyout to phasing to implementation to CloseoutMaintaining an excellent working relationship with the design and construction professionals geared towards open communications and mutual problem solving in the best interest of the project and all other parties involvedContributing to a high level of team morale through professionalism that reflects well on the project team, external stakeholders and client/internal stakeholders DutiesAssist the Airport Terminal project team in the receipt, distribution and maintenance of submittals. Perform construction contract correspondence, document and plan control function, input data into PMWeb, and prepare management information status report, as required. Update and maintain logs for submittals and RFIs in PMWeb, the project information system. Maintain project files and document and submittal management systems (hard and electronic copies). Work with the Contractor(s) to ensure the drawings are posted efficiently and in a timely manner. Distribute documents, submittals and RFIs for review; track and compile responses/review comments, obtain management approval and issue responses to Contractor(s). Manipulate electronic files of various formats to create exhibits for presentations and meetings.Complete other responsibilities and assist as assigned to support the project such as attending and documenting project meetings (write agendas and minutes), perform expediting functions, and prepare and maintain an expediting log; etc.QualificationsRequired Qualification:- Years of Experience/Education/Certificates/Training:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, airport administration, or other related field Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professional license or certifications. Five (5) years or more experience, preferably on airport projects or environmentsExperience supporting Multiple Award Task Order Contracts.Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and BluebeamExperience with Project Management Implementation Systems; ability to work in PM Web is preferredWage RequirementStarting Salary range for this job is $90,000.00 - $107,120.00.
