In 2020, G Mining Ventures (GMIN) was created to acquire direct ownership of projects and capitalize on the value uplift that successful mine development offers. In July 2024, GMIN has acquired the Oko West project. The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.To Ensure The Achievement Of This Large-scale Project, G Mining Ventures Is Looking For An Experienced And Motivated Individual To Fill The Position OfCamp Admin SupervisorThe Camp Administration Supervisor is essential in supporting Camp Management with daily administrative and operational tasks. This role involves accurately processing orders, managing invoice payments, and maintaining daily attendance records for the Camp Department. The Supervisor will coordinate administrative processes and ensure effective recordkeeping while overseeing daily camp operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess purchase requisitions in the SAP system for all Camp sub-departments and track delivery of ordered items.Establish and maintain effective relationships with local and overseas suppliers.Process daily invoices to reconcile with actual delivery amounts and manage received financial statements (SES).Request and assist sub-departments with requests for quotations (RFQs).Manage and document daily attendance records and process timesheets in the SAP system, reporting discrepancies to management.Provide raw data for monthly financial and inventory reports.Lead the Camp Administration Coordinator in collecting financial data.Assist with front desk activities as needed.Support Camp Management during safety inspections of the camp.Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and cooperation.Monitor inventory supply needs and coordinate orders with sub-departments.Assist Camp Management with the preparation of monthly financial reports and tracking spending balances.Be prepared to fill in for the Camp Superintendent and Manager when required.Safety & Sustainability Expectations: Demonstrate a strong commitment to your own health and safety, your fellow workers', and local communities'. Always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in production environments. Stay alert and report on unsafe conditions, ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and regulatory standards. Promote a culture of safety by setting a good example and intervening as necessary to ensure workplace safety.Qualifications/Skills And ExperienceEducation: Minimum qualification of a college or high school diploma in business administration or a related field.Experience: At least 4 years of experience working in administrative roles.Skills:Strong work ethics and effective communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Capacity to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced, high-stress setting.Punctual and safety-conscious, with a results-oriented mindset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Experience with enterprise systems is essential.Strong computer skills and basic accounting knowledge preferred.Good comprehension of the English language (written and verbal).Working ConditionsPosition based at the OKO Project site.
