We work with clients to facilitate independent living and believe in a world where anyone with mental health issues can live within their community with the choice and support they need to live their best life possible.As the Deputy Service Manager, you will also support the Service Manager to oversee the supported living service at Vanguard Court.Application Deadline December 12, 2025 Department Operations Employment Type Permanent - Full Time Location NIHCSS Specialist Housing Related Support Workplace type Onsite Compensation £28,706 / year Reporting To Janine HallileyKey ResponsibilitiesAs Our Deputy Service Manager At NIHCSS, You Will:Support the Service Manager at Vanguard CourtBe responsible for nurturing and inspiring those coming to work for NIHCSSHelp ensure we have the best staffing team, offering the best support servicesSkills, Knowledge & ExpertiseEssentialROLE SPECIFIC:At least two years’ full-time equivalent experience of working in front mental health and/or accommodation services.At least one year experience of supervising and managing others within front line mental health and/or accommodation services.Knowledge and practical experience of delivering high quality support to people experiencing mental distress.Experience of supervising people and teams and monitoring people’s performance. Leads the development of a culture which encourages innovation and continuous improvement.Able to establish and sustain local partnerships, developing creative ways to work together with other partner organisations. Acts at all times as an ambassador for Together.Commitment to the empowerment of people using services and promoting people's rights.
