We are dedicated to delivering exceptional M&A advisory services to our clients, supporting their growth and strategic objectives.EY-Parthenon employees enjoy unparalleled contact with influential and highly experienced professionals at client organisations across a multitude of sectors.The opportunityEY Guyana is recruiting for an EY Parthenon experienced professional at Senior Manager level to lead multiple merger and acquisition projects, focusing on the execution of transactions; and the development of networks and relationships to that can benefit EY and clients.As a Senior Manager in our team, you will apply your technical skills across all sectors to:manage sell side mandates through optimal positioning of the assets or business for sale, identifying target bidders, preparing Information Memoranda, supporting the due diligence process; and negotiating commercial terms.manage buy side mandates, through data-driven analysis, and primary and secondary research, to evaluate the attractiveness of an acquisition target, and work with clients to structure and negotiate successful transactions.manage financial modelling and valuation exercises, including asset quality reviewsYou will also develop deep and enduring relationships across client organizations and professional bodies to drive opportunities to expand revenue.This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse set of clients to solve their most difficult and important transaction challenges.Your Key ResponsibilitiesApply an understanding of client needs to identify critical outcomes, design work plans to meet outcomes.Integrate data, perform analyses, and apply technical, sector and market knowledge and judgment to form practical insights that enable decision-making by clients.Integrate insights from internal and external subject matter experts and demonstrate a general understanding of other-related disciplines to deliver and promote exceptional service on engagements.Analyze economic trends, changes in regulations, fiscal and monetary policy in Guyana and identify the financial implications of such trends/changes for clients, for EYC and for other stakeholders.Guide team members, to drive excellence in service delivery and foster professional development;Develop a wide and deep network across client organizations and professional bodies, developing lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.Apply in-depth subject knowledge and general understanding of other-related disciplines to analyze client issues to build constructive dialogue with clients and identify opportunities to expand revenue and client services, including across EYC.Develop account plans and coordinate delivery of a range of service offerings to clients by building trust; mobilizing the right resources and ensuring consistent quality.Produce project budgets and timetables and manage delivery against themManage efficiency and productivity of team members; capacity planning; and competency mapping.Skills And Attributes For SuccessExceptional analytical abilities, strong numerical and financial skills and an understanding of financial statements.Ability to produce quality deliverables, in terms of depth of analyses, accuracy of findings, presentation of data, logical reasoning of insights, and use of crisp and effective language.Strong attention to detailExcellent project management skills and ability to manage several large to medium-size projects simultaneously Ability to work independently with self-awareness to seek feedback on performance and drive own development.Proactive mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative team playerWhat We Look ForTechnical certification and or business-related degree, covering accounting, business valuations and financial modelling (ACCA, CFA, MBA etc.)Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in relevant fields, ideally in M&A (M&A boutique, investment banking, Big Four) or in private equity, investment management, transaction diligence, etc.Experience levels will be assessed accordinglyWhat We Offer YouAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
