Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Chief Surveyor to join our team in Guyana at the Oko West Mine Site.Lead and supervise all surveying activities on the Oko West Mine Site, ensuring accuracy in mine layouts, pit designs, construction works, and operational data.Manage survey teams, oversee daily fieldwork, and ensure compliance with safety standards, QA/QC procedures, and regulatory requirements.Maintain and update survey databases, plans, and digital models, providing precise information to support mine planning, engineering, and construction teams.Coordinate with mine operations, geology, and engineering departments to ensure timely delivery of survey data and support continuous improvement of survey practices.RequirementsMinimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Mining Engineering, and/or relevant experience in the construction mining industry.Relevant experience: Strong proficiency with surveying instruments (total stations, GPS/GNSS, scanners), mine survey software (e.g., Surpac, MineSight, Trimble), and data management; excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Salary Range: Negotiable.Employment Type: Temporary contract for the duration of the construction.Working Hours: Rotation schedule: 23 of work followed by 19 days off.Application DetailsApplication Deadline: November 28th, 2025Interested people are invited to submit a CV/resume and a cover letter to the contact listed above.*This position is open to both local and international candidates.
