Company DescriptionWe are a start-up for 2026 - so this position is being advertised well in advance of the commencement of the role. This is because we need an IQA on board so that we can gain exam board approval. We are located in Staffordshire, but operate fully online, so you can be based anywhere in the UK.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time remote position for an Online Psychology Teacher/IQA at Curborough Academy for Social Sciences. The role involves creating and delivering lesson plans, providing instruction to students through virtual platforms, and utilising effective teaching methodologies to support student learning. Additional responsibilities include offering guidance, assessments, and mentorship to students while ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards in education. Initially, the teaching will be for 4.5 hours only for Level 4 Psychology. In the following academic years, further psychology courses are planned QualificationsExperience in Lesson Planning and Teaching to structure and deliver engaging and effective online classesStrong skills in Communication and Education to facilitate learning and interact professionally with students and stakeholdersFamiliarity with online teaching tools and virtual classroom managementPrior experience in quality assurance within an educational setting is a plusAbility to work independently and maintain flexibility in a remote teaching environmentBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology or a related fieldPGCE or equivalent
