We are operators who have sat in the leadership seat, led transformations, and built teams that deliver results.As our portfolio and investment activity expand, we’re seeking an additional Operating Advisor to join our team and help guide portfolio companies through each stage of their growth journey.The OpportunityAs an Operating Advisor at ASCA, you’ll be a critical bridge between the investment team and the leadership teams of our portfolio companies. You’ll act as a trusted colleague, partner, mentor, and strategic catalyst helping Portfolio company leaders refine their strategy, strengthen execution, and unlock value creation opportunities.You’ll have significant exposure to deal activity, board engagement, and portfolio operations with autonomy to influence key decisions and measurable impact on exit outcomes.This is a highly visible role for an accomplished executive who thrives on building and scaling businesses, developing talent, and driving results through collaboration and influence.What You’ll DoStrategic & Operational LeadershipPartner with investment and management teams to build and execute value creation plans, 100-day plans, and operational improvement roadmaps.Evaluate existing business models and identify opportunities to optimize strategy, structure, and execution.Lead pre-close operational diligence and post-close integration efforts to ensure seamless transitions.Support strategic planning, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure portfolio companies achieve their financial and operational targets.Growth & TransformationWork with CEOs and functional leaders to enhance go-to-market strategies, drive organic growth, and identify new revenue opportunities.Support M&A initiatives by assessing acquisition targets for operational, cultural, and financial fit, and leading post-acquisition integration planning.Champion cross-portfolio collaboration and share best practices to drive repeatable success.Operational ExcellenceAssess operations, processes, and systems to identify gaps and efficiency opportunities.Introduce scalable processes, reporting frameworks, and tools that align with growth objectives.Oversee or coordinate third-party resources that contribute to key value creation workstreams.Leadership DevelopmentServe as a mentor and coach to portfolio company executives, fostering strong leadership and team development.Partner with management to evaluate, recruit, and onboard key executive talent.Help build organizational capability, ensuring teams are structured and equipped to execute.Performance & Risk ManagementEstablish key performance metrics and reporting cadence to track progress and outcomes.Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies that protect enterprise value.Provide regular updates and insights to the ASCA and ASC investment teams.Firmwide CollaborationWork closely with other Operating Advisors to standardize tools, playbooks, and frameworks across the portfolio.Serve as a mentor to early-career investment professionals learning operational best practices.Represent ASCA externally — contributing thought leadership, networking, and sourcing potential talent or partnership opportunities.Who You AreSeasoned Operator: 15–20+ years of progressive leadership experience with a track record of success as a CEO, President, or GM in middle-market or growth-stage businesses.PE-Savvy: Experience within private equity–backed environments, ideally with involvement in at least one successful exit or transformation.Strategic and Hands-On: You combine big-picture strategic thinking with a “roll up your sleeves” approach to execution.Commercially Minded: You understand what drives value creation — from P&L levers to operational KPIs and talent strategy.Influential Communicator: Exceptional EQ, communication, and stakeholder management skills — able to build trust and drive change through influence, not authority.Analytical & Decisive: Comfortable with data, dashboards, and financials; you make decisions based on insights and outcomes.Collaborative Leader: You thrive in team environments, value transparency, and believe that success is achieved through partnership and accountability.Educated & Experienced: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field required; MBA preferred.Why Join Atlantic Street Capital AdvisorsAt ASCA, you’ll be part of a high-performing, entrepreneurial team that values collaboration, transparency, and impact.
