Operations Manager / Director("Chief of Getting Things Done" ) – Tech Distribution |   DubaiLocation : Dubai, UAE (on-site, full-time)Salary     : AED 35,000–45,000 per month + performance-based bonus (up to 30%)Industry : Technology Hardware DistributionCompany size: ~20 employees About UsWe’re a fast-growing technology hardware distributor based in Dubai, working with brands such as Motorola and Cambium Networks.Our customers include B2B resellers, WISPs, NGOs (like the UN World Food Programme), and government clients across the region.We’re a small but highly capable team of 15–20 people — a close-knit, family-style culture — and now we’re looking for an Operations Manager (or Director) who can take our CEO’s strategy and turn it into seamless, accountable execution across all departments. The RoleYou’ll be the execution engine of the company — responsible for taking strategic priorities and turning them into measurable actions. This means running and improving day-to-day operations, coaching department heads, and ensuring that every team member is working towards clear, aligned goals. You’ll work closely with the CEO to drive the business forward while freeing them from day-to-day operational oversight. Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate company strategy into execution – build clear plans and ensure follow-through.Lead cross-functional operations – oversee Customer Service, Technical, Marketing, Logistics, and Accounting teams.Drive accountability and performance – implement goal setting, KPIs, and regular reviews in a supportive, coaching way.Improve processes & systems – identify inefficiencies, optimize workflows, and enhance systems (CRM/ERP, communication, reporting).Project management – lead business-wide initiatives such as website upgrades, new vendor onboarding, or process automation.Support HR and people development – performance reviews, hiring, training, and building a culture of ownership.Be the bridge – act as the feedback loop between the CEO’s strategy and the day-to-day reality of the team. What We’re Looking For10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in operations or general management.Background in technology distribution, telecommunications, or a related sector preferred.Experience leading multiple teams in a small-to-mid-size business.Strong execution mindset — you get things done, on time, with excellence.Naturally structured and organized, yet people-oriented and empathetic.Confident with systems, process improvement, and measurable performance metrics.A hands-on leader who is visible in the office daily and leads by example.Must already be based in the UAE and authorized to work here.
