As we continue growing, we will continue offering the best and most-affordable vacation options out there!Job DescriptionThe operations manager plays a critical role in supporting the corporate engineering department by enhancing operational efficiency, fostering team alignment, and driving the execution of key initiatives. Reporting to the director of engineering operations, this position ensures seamless collaboration, effective communication, and the successful achievement of departmental goals.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Additionally, the individual must embody and adhere to the following core company values:IntegrityPassionWork ethicEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesServe as a support liaison alongside the director of engineering operations, coordinating communication with resort engineering teams to ensure consistent messaging and adherence to processes.Support vendor communication and coordination as needed to facilitate projects and align with departmental objectives.Collaborate with project teams to assist in planning, coordinating, and executing key initiatives, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and timelines.Track and manage departmental reports, compliance documentation, and other critical processes to maintain operational efficiency.Provide assistance with policy updates, resource management, and document organization.Assist in reviewing financial documents, including profit and loss statements (P&Ls) and budget planning/tracking.Prepare, submit, and track project proposals, including those related to capital and renovation projects, ensuring timely approval and clear communication with project managers.Analyze operational data to identify trends, provide insights, and support decision-making processes.Provide operational support as needed, which may include occasional travel to resorts to assist or train engineering administrative teams.Utilize tools and platforms such as Medallia, SharePoint, and HotSOS to support departmental operations and objectives.Assist in managing and analyzing systems, including overseeing SharePoint resources and organizing data from Medallia and HotSOS systems.Coordinate and develop training resources, including creating presentations and organizing training sessions.QualificationsExperienceFive years of experience in operations, engineering, or a related field.One to three years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to guide teams and support organizational goals.One to two years of experience in project management or project coordination.Demonstrated expertise in streamlining processes and managing complex initiatives in a corporate or multi-location environment.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including leadership, on initiatives and projects.Familiarity with financial analysis, project tracking, and operational reporting.Preferred experience in the hospitality, engineering, or property management industries.Education and CertificationsHigh school diploma or GED (required).Associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred).Skills And KnowledgeAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with operational tools such as Medallia, SharePoint, and HotSOS.Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and foster alignment across cross-functional teams.Skilled in coordinating and tracking project plans, timelines, and deliverables with attention to detail.Strong understanding of process improvement, compliance standards, and departmental efficiencies.Ability to build relationships with resort teams, vendors, and corporate leadership to drive successful outcomes.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have any direct reports but requires setting a standard of excellence and modeling best practices.The operations manager will provide indirect support to resort teams, fostering collaboration.Physical DemandsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds while performing duties related to this position.Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members within the organization.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Reasoning AbilitiesAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Work EnvironmentPrimarily based in a corporate office environment, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.May be required to visit and spend time working at resort properties, which may involve:Exposure to construction sites, outdoor environments, and varying weather
