Kodiak Robotics, Inc. was founded in 2018 and has become a leader in autonomous ground transportation committed to a safer and more efficient future for all. The company has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology stack purpose-built for commercial trucking and the public sector. The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly announce delivering a driverless semi-truck to a customer. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense.We are looking for a Operations Recruiter to help us scale our Fleet Operations team, while providing an excellent candidate experience and making Kodiak one of the top places to work. You will own full-cycle recruiting for critical Operations roles, partnering with hiring managers to define profiles and run tight, structured interview processes. You’ll build and sustain strong pipelines through outbound sourcing, events, and relationships with trade schools, colleges, and local and statewide partners, acting as a subject matter expert on Kodiak’s operations and freight network.In this role, you will:Own full-cycle recruiting for logistics, transportation, and operations roles (e.g., CDL drivers, fleet/AV technicians, dispatch/ops, field integration, Permian Basin / Midland–Odessa roles).Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, create aligned candidate profiles, calibrate on resumes, and drive structured, efficient interview processes.Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates through outbound sourcing, job postings, referrals, events, and industry networks.Deliver an excellent candidate experience by communicating clearly, setting expectations, and ensuring candidates feel informed and respected at every step.Become a subject matter expert on Kodiak’s operations, freight network, and field environments so you can credibly and enthusiastically pitch our roles and impact.Provide market insights to hiring managers and the People team on talent availability, compensation signals, and competitive activity in logistics/transportation.Identify and drive improvements in recruiting workflows, interview processes, and messaging to make our recruiting efforts more effective and efficient.Attend Job Fairs, hiring and networking events on behalf of Kodiak. Build and maintain relationships with local and statewide hiring resources including identifying Trade Schools and College and University Programs that are graduating potential candidates for Kodiak.Travel up to 1 week per month to other Kodiak offices, hiring events, conferences, and Customer sites.
