NU Advisory Partners has been retained to lead the search for a Senior Vice President, Human Resources for a global organization with operations across multiple U.S. geographies. This executive will serve as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing people strategies that align with the company’s goals, values, and mission. With 2,000+ searches and deep industry expertise, we deliver high-touch service and leadership talent that drives long-term value.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & PartnershipDevelop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with organizational objectives and culture.Partner with global HR leadership and executive teams to ensure regional alignment with enterprise goals.Serve as a strategic advisor on workforce planning, organizational design, and cultural transformation.Lead compliance, risk mitigation, and policy frameworks that meet evolving legal and regulatory standards.Talent, Culture & EngagementOversee talent acquisition, development, and performance management initiatives to attract and retain top talent.Design and implement competitive compensation, benefits, and reward programs that drive engagement and equity.Champion a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement through clear communication and leadership.Partner with leaders to enhance employee experience and strengthen retention through proactive engagement and learning programs.Compliance, Operations & GovernanceEnsure full compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations across diverse jurisdictions.Oversee payroll, HR operations, and redeployment functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.Lead integration efforts for acquisitions, workforce transitions, and organizational restructuring.Manage the HR budget and optimize resources to ensure efficiency and operational excellence.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead and develop HR, payroll, and redeployment teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.Establish clear priorities, accountability, and communication across HR and business functions.Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on complex HR matters, employee relations, and organizational development.Qualifications & Experience15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive capacity.Proven HR leadership experience in companies with an outsourcing, BPO, or rebadging model is required. Proven ability to design and execute strategic HR initiatives aligned with business goals.Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, EEO, ADA, HIPAA, FCRA, Affirmative Action).Deep understanding of HRIS and payroll systems, compliance reporting, and data analytics.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field required; Master’s degree or formal HR certification (SPHR/SHRM-SCP) preferred.Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels.Located in Eastern or Central time zone (required).
