Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a OPEX MANAGER ( business intelligence).What You’ll DoJob SummaryProvide a short overview of the role. What is the primary function of this role?"Develop and lead the Operational Excellence function for both CI and BI teams by: Lead the deployment of Eaton CI Strategy in the site. Drive sustainable CI and build organizational CI competency. Drive deployment of Eaton Lean Six Sigma tools and Continuous Improvement Framework blocks in order to achieve performance excellence as expected in funcional assessments, support achievement World Class Hi5 metrics and sustainment of Model Plant status. Lead the development and deployment of the digital transformation strategy in the site. Drive build organizational capability and competency for the BI team to support digital mindset transformation in the plant by developing digital solutions and tools across all functions."Job ResponsibilitiesList the main functions of the role, being clear and concise (avoid using abbreviations, use short sentences, stress what is unique, emphasize what makes your job and organization special). If this is a re-evaluation of an existing role, highlight the job responsibilities that are new to the role."1.Develop and execute the plant’s Operational Excellence strategy aligned with corporate objectives, utilizing EBS Strategy Deployment and Integrated Deck Building.Lead the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and other CI methodologies under the Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) to drive improvements in productivity, quality, and cost.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to identify and eliminate waste, streamline processes, and enhance value delivery.Build and sustain a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and Lean Six Sigma certification programs.Oversee governance of improvement projects, ensuring alignment with KPIs and measurable business impact.Drive standardization and scalability of best practices across departments and regional sites.Partner with leadership to support strategic planning, digital transformation initiatives, and model plant readiness.Lead the Site Cost Out, Continuous Improvement (CI), and Business Intelligence (BI) project portfolio; monitor and report on CI metrics, ROI, and operational health indicators.Promote employee engagement and inclusion through structured problem-solving and empowerment frameworks.Execute key breakthrough continuous improvement projects (""needle mover"" initiatives) to achieve stretch performance goals and support World Class Manufacturing (WCM) targets.Champion the disciplined use of ECIS tools and processes to build organizational capability and deliver sustainable results.Manage the Lean Six Sigma Academy for Yellow Belt and Green Belt certification.Support annual assessments, including the Operations Assessment (OpA), and collaborate with divisional and site leadership to identify Opportunities for Advancement and develop improvement action plans."QualificationsEducation level requiredBachelor's Degree: in Engineering fieldsYears And Area Of Experience Required10 years of experience in similar roles (prefer: Opex / Engineering / Projects / Quality/CI)Technical knowledgeBachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory); Master’s degree required.Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.3.8–10 years of experience in manufacturing or operational excellence leadership.Minimum 2 years of experience in Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement.Minimum 2 years of experience in developing and designing digital solutions.Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, deployment, and governance.Proven track record in cost-out programs, financial impact analysis, and savings validation.Experience in product management and operational integration of new or existing products.Proficient in Lean tools: Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen facilitation, process transformation.Advanced use of Six Sigma tools: A3, 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, SPC, MSA, DOE, and structured problem-solving.Familiarity with Eaton Business System elements: EQMS, PROLaunch, MESH, or equivalent systems.Trained in Eaton systems: Operational Assessment (OpA), Quality Systems, Lean Six Sigma, TPC Process.Strong analytical, communication, and change management skills.Experience with digital tools: Power BI, ERP systems, automation platforms.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
