Job DescriptionWe need 2 resources for:Location- RomaniaRate: DOETechnical Skills Databases: Oracle Database RAC, Optional: Microsoft SQL Server, Operating Systems: Red Hat Linux / OEL. Optional: Windows. Languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting. Utilities: RMAN, Oracle Grid/Cloud Control, Data Guard, Performance Tuning,EXP, IMP, Datapump Tools: TKPROF, TOAD, EXPLAIN PLAN, AWR, STATSPACK, ADDM, ASH,AUTO Trace.ResponsibilitiesProvide Database technical support in a timely manner (including SLA).Participate through rotation in the 24/7 on-call activity which provides out of business hours support, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays if needed.Ensure that the KPI's are maintained according to the existing Service Level Agreement.You shall administer and troubleshoot complex Oracle database systems and perform full database lifecycle management which includes: instalation & configuration, monitoring, patching, setting up the back-up and performance tuning for the said databases;You will participate in the production support activities in order to ensure the performance tuning & troublesooting of complex queries / server performance issues;You will define and implement HighAvailability, DataGuardYou shall support the configuration and maintenance of our databases for our current applications/systems and also support other database config. activities;You ensure the technical support of our databases together with our development and user support teams. You will also develop contingency plans in order to make sure our databases guarantee the smooth functioning of applications;You will solve access problems to our DBs and also configure the layers of access granted to certain users;You will support the configuration of certain reports and also make sure that our reporting services are running as intended;
