Full-time with monthly accrued day offBetween $101,122 and $110,480 per annum depending on qualifications and experience, plus superannuation.Primarily based in Sale, but may be required to work across Orange Door sitesGippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) is a not-for-profit organisation that’s been helping East Gippsland residents to live well for more than 40 years.We’re one of the region’s most high-profile health and support service providers with more than 500 staff, 300 volunteers, and an annual budget in excess of $50 million.About The RoleThe Orange Door Practitioner will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of practitioners to deliver high quality, safe and effective responses to Victorian women, children and families seeking support and safety through The Orange Door.The Orange Door Practitioner will report to a Team Leader on a day-to-day basis with formal line management and supervision provided by a Gippsland Lakes Complete Health Team Leader. They will also receive support and guidance from The Orange Door Practice Leaders.Skills & ExperienceA degree in Social Work or equivalent, or be working towards this qualification in line with Recommendation 209 of the Royal Commission.Experience working with adults using family violence, children and families with complex needs and risk issues in any of the following service areas: Family Services, Child Protection, Family Violence, Disability, Housing, Mental Health and/or Alcohol and Other DrugsTeam CultureAt GLCH we believe our people are our biggest asset and pride ourselves on a culture that is equitable, encourages open communication and has an emphasis on recognition and career advancement.
