Our commitment is to deliver expert advice and support, ensuring our clients can make informed decisions and achieve their goals.Job DescriptionRole overview Support the in-house legal team with legal, compliance, and administrative tasks across all FRP service lines, working closely with Legal Counsel to ensure effective risk management and regulatory complianceKey ResponsibilitiesDraft, review and amend legal documents including NDAs, engagement letters, supplier contracts and recruitment agency termsAssist with maintaining and developing centralised legal templatesSupport the legal team in reviewing client documentation and advising on proposed changes to standard termsAssist with FCA-related compliance tasks including Regdata submissions and Connect applicationsSupport the classification of regulated and unregulated mandates and client typesHelp maintain insider lists and compliance manualsProvide support on ICAEW ethical and compliance mattersAssist with data protection issues including Subject Access Requests, Records of Processing Activities, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), maintaining ICO registrations and breach reportingMaintain accurate records of legal activities and compliance reportsProvide support on the development of company policies and administration of the Policy Management SystemLiaise with internal stakeholders across service lines to ensure legal alignmentHelp maintain supplier management processes and input into the development of related policies and processesContribute to the development of internal training materials on legal and compliance topicsStay up to date with regulatory changes and legal best practicesQualificationsQualificationsLaw degree or equivalent legal qualificationPrevious experience in a legal or paralegal role, ideally within professional services or financial advisoryStrong understanding of legal terminology, document drafting and compliance frameworksExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools (e.g. LexisNexis, Westlaw)Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on attitude and a willingness to contribute across different areas of the business where requiredExperience supporting FCA-regulated entities (desirable)Familiarity with Corporate Finance and professional services environments (desirable)Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teamsAdditional InformationOur ValuesStraightforward: We provide clear, no-nonsense advice.Confident: Our guidance is backed by expertise and evidence.Pragmatic: We focus on practical solutions and tangible outcomes.Real: We are professional yet approachable, understanding the challenges our clients face.Our Commitment to You and the EnvironmentAt FRP, sustainability is integral to our strategy and operations.
