This role is central to keeping projects and operations running smoothly while maintaining the highest level of professionalism for our high-end clientele.Key Responsibilities Include Oversee accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and business insurance coordination Enter and track transactions in Account Edge and Studio Designer Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, deposits, and petty cash Prepare and issue invoices; follow up on payments Record and organize credit card transactions, tax receipts, and client reimbursables Assist with monthly sales tax filings, quarterly submissions, and outside accountant coordination Generate project-specific financial reports to support budgeting and planning Draft and maintain client contracts, vendor communications, and financial records Support principal designer and administrative functions, including expense management and operational payments Uphold confidentiality and deliver seamless service to high-profile clients Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Comfortable collaborating with a small, dynamic design teamThis is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-touch, luxury interior design studio, ensuring financial clarity and stability behind the creative work.Job RequirementsJob RequirementsRequirements 3–5 years of professional bookkeeping experience required Experience in an interior design office strongly preferred Proficiency in Quickbooks and Houzz Pro Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and work independently under deadlines Proven reliability and discretion with sensitive information Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldAbout Our CompanyAmy launched Amy Young Designs in 2014, now the Young Design Group LLC.
