We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Part Time Customer Service Ambassador.In This Role You WillDelivering excellent level of customer service at branchActing as the first contact point of customers in a warm and caring manner to ensure their journey with HSBC is highly satisfiedActing as a bridge between branch staff and customers from the ethnic minority communityConnecting with customers who may speak one or more different languages (e.g. Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Nepali etc.) and helping them with their needsUnderstanding customers' needs and directing them to the right area of the branch to ensure their needs are fulfilled during their visitsAddressing customers' dissatisfaction and escalating to appropriate staff members to minimize further complaintsSharing with the community about our new services and branches welcoming Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Nepali speakersTo Be Successful You WillClear commitment to supporting the ethnic minority community and/ or volunteer work preferredPrevious customer service experience is highly recommendedFront office retail banking experience would be advantageousInterested in learning more about the inner workings of the banking industryStrong interpersonal and teamwork skillsDetail oriented, patient, positive and adaptableFluent in English and/ or Cantonese a must, plus preferably two of the following languages: Hindi, Urdu, Nepali, PunjabiHolder of Hong Kong citizenship or permanent residence Opening up a world of opportunity www.hsbc.com/careersHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
