We are looking for a Payment Gateway Lead who will take full ownership of our payment integrations, drive innovation, and help shape the future of Payine’s global payment ecosystem.In this position, you will play a key role in delivering, managing, and optimizing payment integrations within our environment.Responsibilities:Manage the full lifecycle of integrations with different PSPs and acquirers, from market research, negotiations, gathering requirements, QA to go-live & post-launch support.Issue and manage MIDs (Merchant IDs), ensuring correct setup per merchant and acquiring requirements.Identify and build partnerships with new Payment Service Providers (PSPs), and Apm’s to expand the company’s payment capabilities.Support new clients throughout the payment setup and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.Continuously analyze and enhance payment processes to drive efficiency, automation, and operational excellence.Maintain accurate documentation of PSP agreements, onboarding procedures, and project progress, providing regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders.Managing cashier logic, transaction rules and limits, tailored to client risk profiles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.Coordinate across internal teams to ensure alignment and readiness.Act as the primary point of contact for clients and partners, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing collaboration.Identify and remove blockers, manage technical and operational risks, and drive continuous improvement across integrations.Ensure regulatory and operational readiness, including testing, documentation, and configuration.Stay current with industry standards, regulatory changes, and payment innovations to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.Background and experience:3+ years of experience as Payment Manager / Specialist at Payment Solutions Provider (PSPs) or Payment Gateways.Strong understanding of payment processing flows, including authorizations, captures, settlements, refunds, and chargebacks.Experience with MIDs(Merchant ID) issuance, payment pages, cashiers, transaction rule creation, limit settings, and merchant onboarding processes.Technical proficiency / orientation through integrations in APIs, SDKs, and common integration patterns.Client Facing support skills.Exceptional management, project coordination, and communication skills.Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.Experience working with acquirers and card schemes.Understanding of PCI DSS and regulatory frameworks affecting EMIs.Previous involvement in scaling integrations across multiple geographies or currencies.Company Package:Salary depends on experience.Flexible working hours.Short Fridays to kick-start your weekend early.1 remote work day per week for better work-life balance.Weekly complimentary lunch.Birthday perk: Take a half-day off to celebrate your special day.Referral bonuses when you help us grow our team.Sports Benefit or Wolt lunch allowance.Company Profile:Payine is an International Fintech firm who’s regulated as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) under the FCA,we offer dedicated business accounts and corporate cards designed to simplify cross-border payments with ease and efficiency making it easy to send and receive funds locally and globally.Apply now by sending your CV to hr@payine.comAll applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.
