Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Payroll Specialist at Hexa Business Shared Services in Kathmandu. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for payroll administration, garnishments, payroll services, payroll taxes, and payroll processing on a routined basis. Detailed responsibility:Payroll ProcessingEnter contract details into the systemLiaise with Business Team for monthly payroll documentsEnsure correct entry based on the checklist by Business TeamGenerate Payroll file, validate with business team and submit to finance for approval.Ensure contracts are obtained and maintained at all times.Compliance and Reporting:Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal payroll laws and regulations.Prepare payroll-related reports, including journal entries for the finance department.Reconcile payroll discrepancies and audit payroll processes regularly.Systems Management:Manage and update payroll systems with employee information (e.g., new hires, terminations, salary changes).Collaborate with HR and IT to ensure seamless integration of payroll and HRIS systems.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance accuracy.Support payroll system upgrades and the implementation of new tools or technologies.QualificationsPayroll Administration and Payroll Processing skillsGarnishments and Payroll Taxes knowledgeExperience in Payroll ServicesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in calculationsKnowledge of relevant payroll laws and regulationsExcellent organizational and time management skillsProficiency in payroll software and MS ExcelCertification in Payroll Administration is a plus
