WordPress Developer (Junior–Mid Level)

We are hiring a WordPress Developer with solid hands-on experience building and maintaining business websites using WordPress. The ideal candidate should have experience working on live client projects and be comfortable managing complete website development from setup to deployment.This role requires a developer who understands WordPress structure and has strong PHP fundamentals. You should be able to customize themes, modify existing functionality, and confidently work with WordPress core features when needed. The position is not limited to basic page builder usage. We are looking for someone who can understand and work within the technical foundation of WordPress.Key Responsibilities-     Develop and maintain WordPress websites for real business clients-     Customize themes and extend website functionality as required-     Implement structured layouts and dynamic content-     Write and modify PHP within WordPress environments-     Debug issues and improve existing codebases-     Optimize website performance and security-     Manage staging, migration, and live deployment-     Collaborate with designers, SEO teams, and project managersMandatory Requirements-     Minimum 1–2 years of practical WordPress development experience-     Strong understanding of core PHP (functions, arrays, loops, conditionals, form handling)-     Good understanding of:-     WordPress core structure and template hierarchy-     Hooks and filters (working-level knowledge)-     Custom Post Types and Taxonomies-     Ability to read, understand, and modify existing PHP code confidently-     Working knowledge of:-     HTML5 and CSS3-     Basic JavaScript-     MySQL/database fundamentals-     Experience deploying websites to live hosting environmentsPreferred (Strong Advantage)-     WooCommerce experience-     REST API familiarity-     Performance optimization experience-     Hosting, DNS, and server configuration knowledge-     Git/version control experienceJob Details-     Position: WordPress Developer (Junior–Mid Level)-     Job Type: Permanent-     Working Days: 5 days per week-     Location: Jadibuti / Lokanthali area-     Salary: Negotiable based on skill and experienceWhy Join Us-     Work on real-world business projects-     Exposure to structured development workflows-     Opportunity to strengthen WordPress and PHP expertise-     Long-term career growth in a professional environment
