The People and Talent Manager will lead all aspects of talent acquisition, team management, and HR operations across our international workforce. This role combines recruiting strategy, HR management, and people development. You will serve as a trusted partner to leadership, helping shape the organization’s culture, compensation frameworks, and long-term talent strategy as Freshy grows.Roles and responsibilitiesTalent acquisition & recruitingDevelop and execute a global recruiting strategy across design, development, project management, SEO, and support roles.Build strong pipelines of international talent through platforms, partnerships, and proactive sourcing.Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from job posting to offer negotiation.Ensure candidates reflect Freshy’s values, standards of excellence, and client-first mindset.People operations & HR managementManage HR processes, including onboarding, performance reviews, and professional development.Maintain compliance with international employment regulations and contractor agreements.Design and optimize policies that foster retention, engagement, and accountability across remote teams.Administer tools and systems for payroll, time tracking, and performance management.Compensation, benefits, & structureDevelop competitive compensation models across markets and roles (including contractors and employees).Benchmark and adjust pay structures to maintain fairness, transparency, and scalability.Oversee benefits and perks programs that align with Freshy’s culture and operational needs.Culture, engagement, & leadershipAct as a cultural ambassador — ensuring Freshy remains a great place to work for diverse, global team members.Create initiatives for team engagement, recognition, and professional growth.Support managers in building high-performing, collaborative teams.Conduct periodic engagement surveys and report on team health and satisfaction.Requirements5+ years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or people operations (preferably in a digital agency or tech environment).Proven success managing global and/or distributed teams.Deep understanding of international recruiting, labor laws, and compensation practices.Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.Experience with HR tools and systems (Gusto, Deel, BambooHR, etc.).Empathetic leadership style with a focus on culture, accountability, and growth.DetailsJob typeFull-time positionBenefitsRemote flexibility with global collaborationOpportunity to shape the people strategy of a fast-scaling digital companyA culture built on respect, transparency, and excellence401(k)Flexible schedulePaid time offHardware stipendSalaryCompetitive compensation with performance-based bonuses.LocationThis is a remote work position with working hours based on Eastern Time Zone (ET)
