With our exceptionally talented & diverse team, and our A+ client portfolio, the world is our oyster!We are currently looking for a People & Culture Specialist to join our team.The People & Culture Specialist will be responsible for managing the full scope of HR administrative and legal operations in Turkey, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies. This role plays a key part in supporting the employee life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, benefits administration, legal documentation, and employee engagement activities within the Istanbul office. This is a hybrid role — four days in the office and one day remote per week.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in HR operations or generalist rolesSolid understanding of Turkish Labor Law and Social Security legislationExperience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR is a plus)High attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Advanced English Level (written and spoken)RESPONSIBILITIESOnboarding OperationsCollect and verify all required employment documentation (e.g., ID, diploma, residence, etc.)Prepare employment and confidentiality contracts in accordance with legal standardsCreate and maintain complete employee personnel files (digital & physical)Accurately enter employee data into BambooHRCoordinate welcome emails and onboarding logisticsSchedule onboarding meetings and CEO introduction sessionsSupport documentation for relocated employees (e.g., Netherlands office relocation)Ensure timely SGK registration and notifications2. Personnel Administration & HR DocumentationMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee recordsTrack and file internal agreements, job descriptions, and role changesCollect and store GDPR and other legal consent formsPrepare official HR letters (employment letters, salary confirmations, visa support letters, etc.)Support payroll with accurate documentation and timely submissions3. Legal Compliance & Statutory ReportingEnsure full compliance with Turkish Labor Laws and Social Security requirementsSubmit necessary employment status updates to İŞKUR and SGKCoordinate official transitions for legal entity or SGK registration changesLiaise with external legal counsel for employment contract reviews and legal document updatesMonitor the validity of legal documents and take required actions4. Benefits AdministrationManage private health insurance enrollments, terminations, and policy trackingAdminister meal card (Edenred) distributions, balance control, and order processesOversee individual pension plan (BES) enrollment, cancellations, and maintenanceKeep employees informed on benefit programs and ensure system accuracy5. Mobility & Expat ManagementHandle residence and work permit applications for expatriates working in TurkeyProvide documentation support for Turkish employees relocating to the NetherlandsPrepare official documentation for business and personal travel, including visa support6. Offboarding ProcessesPrepare exit documents and ensure proper termination proceduresOrganize and conduct exit interviews; collect feedbackArchive personnel files and execute system termination stepsSubmit SGK exit notifications and cancel private health insurance7.
