Job Title: Personal Investment AdvisorReports To: Head, Retail SalesClient: ConfidentialIndustry: Investment BankingLocation: Lagos, NigeriaJob Purpose/SummaryThe Personal Investment Advisor will be responsible for supporting and contribute to retail sales by identifying & selling to potential customers; build relationships & understanding the needs of potential retail customers.Key Functions/ResponsibilitiesAct as the first line of engagement for enquiries, providing information about the company’s products and servicesEffectively engage with customers via email, telephone, social media or any other meansIdentify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternativesImprove customer experience to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, referral, and market growthMarket and sell products and services to potential customersParticipate in marketing and awareness campaigns to increase the company’s customer base and contribute to setting financial targetsFollow up on potential sales leads through market research and networkingManage business relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure sales growthContribute to the formulation and monitoring of the unit’s market penetration strategies and customer relationship plans to increase market SharePrepare regular reports/updates to the Group Head SalesRegular update of the database of client information, requirements, goals, and progress reportPerform any other responsibility as assigned by the Head, Retail Sales from time to timeRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or business-related disciplineMinimum 3 years’ post NYSC working experience in sales, relationship management, client acquisition, preferably within investment banking, asset management, or financial services.Possession of relevant qualification; CFA will be an added advantage.
