We collaborate with colleagues in every single other function to do what HEINEKEN does best: brew the highest quality, premium beers, and ciders.JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING:To profitably grow the HEINEKEN Ireland draught and packaged portfolio in the on trade channel through strong execution of commercial programs, excellence at the point of purchase and development of effective customer business relationships.Reporting to: PG Regional ManagerLocation: East CorkKey AccountabilitiesAchievement of volume, financial and quality targets in your territory through working in partnership with customers.Development of territory level sales and resource plans that identify and leverage key opportunitiesDevelopment of Customer Account Plans, which will enable Joint Business Planning with customers.Management of customer business relationships through provision of consulting services for the on trade channel through, driving footfall to the on trade, growing the customer’s total business, driving Heineken categories and driving Heineken brands.Implementation and updating of the Territory and Joint Business Plans and removal of barriers to executionDevelopment of outlet quality by implementing the quality standards set out by Heineken Ireland and in partnership with the local Quality team.Execution of the channel activation plan in partnership with the Trade Marketing team.Effective response to customer issues and service requests through liaising with the relevant internal departments.Assessment of HIL and competitor programmes and feedback to the relevant internal functions.Collection and maintenance of customer and market intelligence, by spending time in trade at night observing consumer habits, behaviours, occasions.Any other duties as assigned from time to timeKey measures of success:Sales TargetsPortfolio developmentProgram ExecutionQuality StandardsDemonstration of Company BehavioursKNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND DEVELOPMENT POTENTIALA third level business qualification (University degree).4 years + Sales experience and knowledge is required.Strong Analytical skillsExcellent organisation and planning capabilityBusiness relationship and partnership buildingExpertise in point of purchase excellence, underpinned by a strong understanding of the market and consumer drivers and insights.Strong IT skills and an awareness and interest in leveraging social media platforms.Demonstrate a high level of learning agilitySo join us, and be the spark that fuels our star.Because at Heineken Ireland, we don’t just make the beer…We make the star!“Embracing and celebrating diversity is core to HEINEKEN’s purpose of “brewing the joy of true togetherness to inspire a better world”.
