Dream big and create the future of mobility at Magna Powertrain.Job ResponsibilitiesWhat to expectAs an experienced Power HiL test Engineer, you will be involved in the testing of the traction inverter proto’s in Power HiL test setupCandidates must have hands on experience and / or understanding ofHands on experience of working on at least one HIL set up (Preferrable by AVL )Setting up and debugging full HIL testing systems including physical and software setups of controllers, network switches/protocols, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and interface cards etc.Experience of working on automation scripts and control design using at least one programming language, eg. PythonDirect experience of using HIL setup for inverter systems with understanding of inverter (E drive) performance requirementsCommunicate findings in a concise & clear manner and ability to work cross functionally with different cross functional team engineers who are potential users of the HIL system (like inverter hardware team)Qualify features of system under test based on a clear understanding of the system, its requirements and potential vehicle use case scenarios. Increase efficiency by automation.Improve robustness of testing by incorporating lessons learnt from previous projects, by analyzing defects leaked, stress tests and so on.Comply to process and deliver as per plan, communicate deviations and mitigation plans, support analysis of problem reports. Worked in creating the test requirement in PTC or similar tools, create test reports and able to correlate the test resultsHands on experience in working with High voltage lab setup.Manages communication and alignment with all affected stakeholders.Educational and Professional Skill requirementBachelors or Masters in Electrical/ Electronics or equivalent from reputed university/institution3 to 10 years of experience of relevant job experienceExperience in the automotive sector is desirable.Very good written and spoken English skills.Awareness, Unity, EmpowermentAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
