Job Title: Plant Head & Operations Industry: Textile Fastner Location: Bangladesh Prefer industry: Textile Fastner/ Paint / Auto mobile component Budget- OpenExperience: –15 + Years Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related field---Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Operation & Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for our fastener and garment-accessory unit. The role requires strong leadership in production, maintenance, quality, and operational excellence, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction through best-in-class manufacturing practices.---Key ResponsibilitiesLead overall plant operations, including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, and EHS.Develop and execute production plans to achieve monthly and annual targets (output, quality, and cost).Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen to improve plant efficiency and reduce downtime.Ensure strict compliance with EHS, ISO, and buyer audit standards (e.g., OEKO-TEX, REACH, SEDEX).Oversee machinery upkeep, preventive maintenance, and utilities management (boilers, compressors, plating units, etc.).Drive continuous improvement in process flow, yield, and manpower productivity.Monitor cost control, waste management, and energy efficiency within the plant.Coordinate closely with Planning, Purchase, and Dispatch to ensure on-time customer delivery.Manage and mentor a large multi-shift team; build a strong shop-floor culture of discipline and accountability.Report key KPIs to top management (efficiency, rejection, lead time, downtime, and output metrics).---Desired Candidate ProfileProven experience managing operations in Zipper, Fastener, Button, Rivet, Hook, Metal Trim, or Auto Fastener industry.Strong understanding of metal finishing, plating, moulding, and assembly processes.Hands-on exposure to Lean tools, TPM, 5S, or other operational excellence frameworks.Experience handling manpower (300–1000+ workers) in multi-shift manufacturing units.Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.Exposure to EPZ / Export-oriented garment accessory plants will be an added advantage.
